We are pleased to announce that a senior citizen patient (76 year), who had come to our ER due a broken hip bone (peri-prosthetic fracture) has recovered successfully. She was discharged from hospital care last week.
The patient had undergone left bipolar hip replacement surgery 4 month ago. Being paraplegic, she lost her balance and fell. Leading to her injuries. She was brought to Aditi hospital, Mulund under emergency situation and a was treated by orthopaedic Dr. Shailendra Patil & his team. Given the current spread of Covid-19 in Mumbai test were performed to make sure patient was not covid-19 positive. After her covid results came negative. Dr. Patil and his team performed Revision Hip Replacement Surgery / ORIF with plating by taking all necessary precautions. After 3 days the patients had recovered well and was discharges.
